xbox tuner windows10

Post by mgs999 »

UK freeview via xbox tuner on Windows 10 is receiving 108 channels on five muxes but not two muxes described as DTG-6 256QAM 32KE 2/3 40.2Mb/s DVB-T2 MPEG4 Scanning the relevant frequencies (482.0 MHz and 514.0MHz) gives "no signal" report. Is there any way to get these working? If so can detailed settings be shown please?

Did you tried to set Delivery Sys to DVBT2, as author asked to do for DVB-T2 transmissions?

Update - my mistake - by using the manual scan as shown in the attached image I now have the missing channels. However, I am unable to view the HD channels.

Any suggestions as to how to view these channels?

Not enough details to help.
Channels have been saved on the channel list? They're not playing? Or they're not on the channel list?
To correctly scan - right click on frequency, Edit it to select DVBT2 as Delivery Sys and then scan again.

Channels are saved but not playing. Attached screenshot shows the blank screen with channel properties window on top.

Looks fine with one exception - no signal & no quality. But DVBT2 delivery sys OK.
At this point it looks like some locking issue.
When switching to channels from other muxes - everything is fine? Do you have signal & quality levels at the bottom of the window?

Other channels on other muxes work fine with signal and quality showing. The successful channels have video type MPEG2 the channels that do not work show video type as H264. I think this different video type may be the problem, Freeview information shows MPEG4 as video coding for the unsuccessful channels.
