Hello there ;

mdvbapi_v0.15 dll works fine. When I switch to PowerVU channels on the Astra 4.9 satellite, I watch it for 10 minutes. OSCam crashes. PowerVU dll is conflicting with mdvbapi dll.
thank you very much

try mdvapi 19.1
v0.17
Fixed possible crash on closing the plugin
Changed config folder destination to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\mdvbapi (example: C:\ProgramData\mdvbapi).
Existing config mdvbapi.ini or mdvbapi.log is getting moved to the new config folder on the first start.

v0.17.1
Changed log entries for DVBLink
Fixed filter for data with a length of 184 bytes

v0.18
Added extended CW API (PowerVu, DES & AES) (only usable for DVBViewer - untested!)

v0.19
Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable Package (x86) is needed!
Added some speed improvements for the SSE2 version.
Added AVX2 (256 bit) version (this is a decoding boost against the SSE2 version)

v0.19.1
Finished CW API (PowerVu, DES & AES), thx to lnj

Please discuss in private about those plugins.
I don't want the forum to raise any red flags about supporting illegal channels decryption.
Thank you !

MPC-VR seems to be a very nice renderer, and certainly use lower resources than madVR. I tried to render a file in GraphEdit (graphstudionext.exe) and the render does not show any video window (tested with stable version 0.5.2.1607 and nightly build 0.5.3.1706). In MPC-HC is working OK.
Do you know any simple example of how to use it ? I looked into MPC-HC/BE sources but it's too complicated for me :)

The program is very nice, the movie subtitle and IPTV need to be added from the file.

That's why I've recommended MPC-VR for implementation in AltDVB.

I tried MPC-VR v0.4.10.1542 x64 with same result in graphstudionext64.exe

It's a pity I don't know.

I'm not programmer but I know it took couple of days while SmartDVB has been successfully tried to implement MPC-HC/BE sources in his app SmartDVB

I've found new EVR antifreeze - at first go to floating window and then go to fullscreen.

Hint: After installation, If the library Dev_Bda2Driver does not appear in the AltDVB selector list, please install Visual C++ 2008 redistributable:

Hi,

I'm liking AltDVB a lot, but I have a problem with it, the program can not scan more than one satellite
with my monoblock LNB. The main LNB works fine, Hot Bird, but the secondary one gets no signal for
Astra 1.

After some searching I installed he CrazyCat driver, and now it works with it, but this driver has brought
a second problem, the HD channels pixelate or break up once in a while, and this is something that
doesn't happen with the default Altx driver/library, nor it happens with a DVB-T stick. I've tried older
versions of the CrazyCat driver and other codecs and Video renderes, but the problem is still there. If I
use the Altx library, it never pixelates, but with this I can not tune to Astra 1 nor it can use my DVB-T
tuners.

Where is the problem here? How can I fix it? And why in the first place the default Altx library can't
scan more than one satellite?

The sat card is a DVBSky S952 Dual DVB-S-S2 PCIe.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm afraid that for DVBSky devices DiSEqC is not yet supported on main Dev_BdaDriver.int, that's why you cannot use it on DVBSky device for multiple satellite positions.

For issue with image breakup on Dev_Bda2Driver.int from CrazyCat - please check Settings -> General and try to slow down Signal update interval. Please try to use at beginning some very low value, eg. 10000 ms. It will extremely slow down reading signal level & quality (to 10s), but might show if this is the reason.

Also you can try to check Process Priority and set it to High, but firstly please check Signal update interval.

Thanks a lot for your reply, and for keeping alive this great free viewer.

Sorry to hear my card's DiseqC isn't supported yet, hopefully it is soon. Let me try this solution you give me
to changing those values. I will test it later when I get home. I hope they work. I will report back.

Thanks.

Regards.
